what is pagan yoga

Pagan yoga is also known as yoga ceremony Based on the up coming book Pagan Yoga these are the pages to connect you deeper with your practice, the focus for this cycle of our natural time and season. By aligning your practice with nature you are able to connect with true Hatha Yoga.
Yoga means to bring together, Sanskrit for yoke,
Ha means solar, active energy relates to the male force in life
Tha means lunar, nurturing energy, related to the feminine force in life.
We all have these within our body male and female as much as we have a left and a right.
Yoga is not a religion, it came from the tantrikas who established a form of connecting with the divine spirit without a formal religion because the religions were dominated by people who took the power away from people to connect directly with the divine spirit. The tantrikas said that you can connect with the divine spirit anytime within your self you do not need a religious intercessor for this, hence nearly 55,oo years ago Yoga was formed.

Yoga moves energy within and around the body, it affects our nervous system, our endocrine system, respiration and blood. It affects each chakra which is a vortices of energy within our body. It may seem like just expercise to some, but it is a very powerful system of wellbeing and health. Very much needed in this time and age.

Each time we approach our yoga and mat we are sending out an intention and by our action of doing yoga, we are creating a reaction, and something will happen. Performing your life’s actions in this way is sacred and thus all life becomes sacred including your interactions, relationships. CELEBRATE THIS SACREDNESS AND PERFORM A YOGA CEREMONY in harmony with the earth and sky.
